I am a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) and a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC). I am certified in both EMDR and Brainspotting. I provide psychotherapy for adults, couples, and families. There are many approaches to psychotherapy, and I tend to use the collaborative model. With the collaborative model, I bring my education, training, and life experience while you bring yourself, your life experience, and your current issues. Together, we take the journey of therapy, and we make decisions about your treatment collaboratively. I congratulate you for making the decision to seek help today.
I believe in empowering my clients and activating their inner strengths and attributes. As we address the issues that have brought you to seek professional help, I will use interventions to unlock your own inner qualities. Psychotherapy can be a transformative as well as a restorative process.
Sometimes in the course of treatment, your struggles may appear to increase rather than decrease. However, as we each do our part over time, we will seek to reach the goals that you have chosen and work through any obstacles. Because we will be addressing the root causes of your issues, there is no way to determine at the onset how long the process would take. Be assured that you are under no obligation to continue in therapy with me, and you have the right to end sessions at any time. However, if you do choose to end therapy, I would appreciate a final session for closure.
I charge $160 per clinical hour (53-60 minutes) for the first session and $140 per clinical hour for subsequent sessions. If we meet on weekends or after 6:00 pm on weekdays, the charge is $180 per clinical hour. I use a sliding scale for those clients who show me their inability to pay my full fee, and we would determine a rate that works for both of us. Although I am an out-of-network provider for private insurance, I have a professional insurance biller who would handle your insurance billings at no charge to you. Please be advised payment is due at time of service, and your insurer will reimburse you at a later date in accordance with your insurance plan.

Good Faith Estimate Notice
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give their patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure you save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
